• The party begins in the town of First Tower in the nation of Breland on the Continent of Khorvaire, in the world of Eberron.
• Working together to deliver a parcel. Each have our own reasons for being there.
• Mission Detail: meet Dane D’Cannith tomorrow morning to receive parcel. Take parcel for delivery to Professor Preston Digitaion with Moore Grave University. Payment is 500 GP.
• Notably, package is linked to the the Creation Forges. The forges may have something to do with The Mourning / The Mournland. The forges have since been shut down, but is someone is trying to start them again?
• Night is dark & thunderous
• Party is in a drunken bar brawl at a tavern called the Blessed Barrel. We fight a mess of equally drunken Half Orcs. Memories are fuzzy. Is the drunken half-orc shield maiden trying to seduce Z? Did this fight being with Ein’s rendition of Thunder Wall? Is Luca carrying a paralyzed Ein like a surf board? We may never truly know. Also, is the bar supposed to be on fire?
• Heavily armored woman, Rithala Mhriane , along with 4 guards (2 dwarves & 2 elves) walk into the bar at towards the end of the fight. She uses magic, puts out the fires, ends the magical paralysis, & tells everyone to stop. Apparently we are ruining things for an event that is to take place tomorrow.
• They take us to the drunk tank to sleep it off, though they will release us in the morning.
• Our jail keeper is Thunderbird FleshGorger. He’s cool. He has a tattoo that is a right of passage for a gang local to Sharn called Storm’s Hammer.
• Some commotion is happening outside in the city. The village bell started ringing to signify the village was under attack. Thunderbird is going to investigate.
• Luca convinces Thunderbird to leave us the key to our cell in case something happens to him while he is outside. That actually happened.
• The party leaves the cell and investigate the evidence room to grab gear, but we notice an unusual draft. A secret door. There are jelly beans on the floor in that location.
• We push the heavy door open, walk through a hall, and come up through the roots of a tree to the outside.
• A giant man with a “fuck off” axe, digging it into Thunderbird’s body. Jelly beans fall from a pouch in Thunderbirds belt as he takes the blow. Giant dude has the symbol of Daask, a known criminal organization local to Sharn
• We also see a man laying by a cart. He has the symbol of House Cannith on his cloak. We guess this was our contact Dane D’Cannith. He, unfortunately appears to dead. Well, shit.
• There is also a hulking warforged on the battle scene. Though we can tell it’s movements are stiffer than a typical warforged. This one is more robotic, more automaton. Presumably he is backup for crazed axe wielding giant Dask dude.
• The party decides to help Thunderbird out of this mess.
