Session -14-
--
- "A sword of stars," is a goblin term referring to a commet.
- The party battled Alais in the Sweet Spot. The party survived...barely. Alais escaped using a teleport spell. Alais took Cirin's severed arm just before she left.
- Ze informed everyone including Kyle about situation and filled in some details about the Dreaming Dark and the Altus.
- Back at Hyperion; resting. Ro talked to Ze about her time in the Eldeen Reaches. The Green Heart is a great pine tree that is also a powerful druid. Cirin needs a mechanical replacement arm.
- Pancake Mamma is actually on a radio show called Wombat & Burger Lad. He really does not like Ta'rok.
- Ein talked to Twinkle the dog. Twinkle told a story about a horse and a blade master...ummm what? But Twinkle does not want Ein to disrupt the Cannith family by killing anyone. He claims it will be a big mistake. Also, there was some great explosion near the Lhazaar Principalities which could reignite the Last War. Perhaps that is worth lookin into?
- Ze brought Gont to visit Cirin at Hyperion. The Shrike allowed it, which was very nice of him. As Gont passed by the tree a spectral hammer briefly appeared in his hand. The hammer looked suspiciously like Kyles hammer. Only Ta'rok actually saw this happen.
- Ta'rok went back the the church of the Silver Flame to speak with Ethod, the very chill priest. Ta'rok trying to get some therapy. They looked in some old book about the Ta'rok of the past and learned some sweet stuff. If only I had written more of it down. The Ta'rok of old was referred to as "Knight of Silver." Also, it was written that before Tiara Miron killed the big bad demon lord it tried to possess the old Ta'rok. There was also talk about Cathona & the Quatals. Silver lights flying around people and stuff...oh man my notes are bad.
- The party got around to speaking with Professor Preston Digitation. He told us to visit Sprigthorn, a colleague of his. Sprigthorn can build an awesome robot arm for Cirin. Too bad Ta'rok has some serious beef with the guy steming from his tourtured past.
- In an unexpected turn of events the Scythe invited us to her office. She apologized to us for the part she played in direclting Alais to us. She made it clean that it was (and still is) her intention to hurt us and retrieve the item we possess. But she was sorry Cirin got involved and injured. She seems genuine in this. And she seems to have enjoyed Cirin's bakery. Ze is not sure how to feel about any of this.
- Finally, the party got a couple pieces of new gear and made way for the Lighting Rail to find Sprigthorn in Korranberg. Maybe take care of some other business there too like finding Heywood or killing some other Cannith's.
- Oh and by the way, Ta'rok was instructed to eat the eyes of the next patient of Sprigthorn. That seems to complicate things, since we were hoping Cirin would be his next patient.
