- The Party was just chilling at the hotel
- The Only Tavern, is a nice tavern nearby, Tiki bar style
- We sold some of our fine brandy to the bartender (name?), and buys some souvenirs in local shops…”Hawaiian” shirts, sandals, bikinis, puka shells…
- Out in the streets, a hysterical woman screamed, exclaimed a man, known to be her husband, was in fact, not her husband, she was taken away by the "guards" (what the hell are guards called in Aelyris?)
- This man: Chutney, the wife: Amelia. After talking with Chutney, his disposition was strange…almost possessed in a calm psychopathic way
- That night, rumors of a murder, a grocer shopkeep had murdered his assistant
- The party can’t leave things alone and just relax at the bar, so Ragdain turned into a spider, crawled into Chutney’s house to snoop around. Chutney was sitting on the bed just staring at the wall like a psycho, both of his children, a boy & a girl, sat calmly on their beds staring at each other, unblinking. Maybe they were just having a staring contest? Ragdain steals a ledger / some papers and leaves
- Ledger contains accounting, groceries bought from the same grocery store with the murder
- We told our guards (Vo & Johnny), something is up, we told them to check out Chutney and not eat the food that he offers. The “possession” has something to do with the food. The guards went to check it out…we saw them eat the food! Why? Fuck. Now they are acting in the same strange way as Chutney and the children
- The party ran to the House of Lux (aka the palace) to tell anyone who would listen, they listed and then promptly threw us in jail…
- A few days later, it was the harvest festival, we were released from our cell, half the city was acting all strange, many citizens wanted us to partake in the festivities, play the games and...have some food
- We finally met up with Spader, he got us an audience with the queen, finally those who were “un-infected” saw and believed the problem
- After some discussion, Flynn remembered of a creature called a Hive Worm Leech. They crawl inside hosts, take over their minds, creating a “hive mind.” That seemed a logical explanation of the situation. The only thing to be done was to find and kill the queen worm.
- The party remembered the ship captain, suicide, on the way into the island. The underwater farm there, the food…it was all adding up.
- The party headed back to that farm location with Spader on a catamaran, (our ship was not yet fully repaired).
- We had been given re-breathers, we dived down into the farm, Spader fought some dude in a “submarine” fight, while the party found a secret passage
- Inside our minds the party heard the evil monologuing of the queen leech as we approached her location. She wanted us to join her hive mind, but we weren't super interested in doing that. So we fight. Naturally it was intense and epic, but it was our party who prevailed. Yay.
